about

I'm a full-time university student/part-time sales associate. I'm as different as they come but just like everyone else all at the same time. I'm big into movies 'n music, and definitely love to laugh. I wish that I could see my family more often, but I have a pretty rockin' roommate who keeps me entertained. I live a busy but simple life, and for the most part love ever minute of it.

Whoa. I had the craziest of crazy dreams last night. Let me set this up for you ...

I went to the closing night of the Satyr Players One-Act Festival last night. It was fantastic. Jess, Pam, and Jordan G. were phenomenal! Anyhow, I talked to Alysia, Geoff, Biff, Sara F., Barbara, Alleah, Pam, and Kylan. I had a fantastic time, as usual. It defies explanation (at least right this minute), but somehow/someway, I seem to fit in with the Theatre crowd -- even though, I'm not a theatre student ...

So last night I had an absolutely crazy dream. I'm still at a loss for words, it was that bizarre:

A bunch of us lived in the same apartment building. Myself and Jess shared a place, Kylan and Lisa lived together, and Kaitlyn shared a place with Alleah. I came home one afternoon and found Jess and Kaitlyn consoling Lisa. Turned out Kylan was dead! Everyone thought he'd killed himself! The paramedics wheeled out is body (which was in a body bag) on a strecher! Everyone was upset, but of course Lisa was hysterical. So, then Jordan D. shows up. He, Alleah, and I decided to call the others and tell them to come over because something bad happened.

How's that for messed up?! I kinda feel guilty for 'killing' Kylan in my dream! I figure (and desprately hope) it's just a jumble of my day yesterday -- which included 2 eppys of CSI and the One-Act plays. Whew!

What a week! (and it isn't even over yet ... ugh.)
Where do I begin? Monday, I guess ...

First thing Monday morning, my computer decides to die on me. Being computerless with an online course and 2 others that use email regularly, lead to a rather nasty anxiety attack.

Later that day, I had a nasty confrontation with Dee. What a bitch. She blew up at me for doing Jess a favor. How nice. I've decided not to associate with her anymore. She doesn't deserve to have me in her life, and I deserve to have better people in mine.

That night, I decided (after counting my pennies repeatedly) to take the plunge and buy a computer. The best deal seemed to be through Future Shop. So, I place my order online. It came out to less than $500 after taxes. And free shipping!

First thing Tuesday morning, I check my email. There's a message telling me to call the FutureShop order desk ASAP. So I call, and the problem is the apartment number on my order doesn't match the apartment number associated with my VISA. Peachy. So, I go and fix that little problem and place another order ensuring that the addresses match correctly.

Tuesday afternoon, I check my email again and what do you know? Another email indicating that I need to call the FS order desk ASAP. Fuck. This time, I called and made it crystal clear that there was no mistake and that they needed to check again.

I'm happy to note, that the problem was verifyed and my computer is currently be prepared for shipping. Yeehaw ...

Onto today, when Hotmail decided that I was a liability and locked me out of my account. Actually, I had been using the WindowsLiveMail beta for that last 2 weeks and it crashed this morning. Two hours, and one nasty anxiety attack later, it suddenly allowed me access. Of course, I immediately switched back to the current Hotmail. Whew.

So, I'm calm, cool, collected. I carry my homework down to Jess's room and start to plug away. Bam! The instructions on one of the pages of my online course are wrong, and I got completely lost in the Mal-U Library website (which I was instructed to be surfing through). Being an online course, I'm supposed to leave a message on the class discussion board announcing my problem. Now I play the waiting game ... fun! Yeah, right.

That's my week, how's yours?!

Oh wait ... I forgot to tell you about this amazing girl I met online. She responded to this, my new blog, on Monday. We've emailed back and forth a few times, and it seems to be going well. I'm so excited!! ;) :p
